Thanks so much for tuning in Kirra, I'm so glad my "doing nothing" notes resonated. I'm also happy to hear you find substack commenting easy. Hope the week if off to a good start for you.
Thanks for tuning in Linda and for sharing you request for outfits. Planning to mix in some fall style content soon. You can read more about what to expect if you become a paid subscriber on my about page: https://stylebee.substack.com/about
Thanks Christine! The containers are from https://raisedgardenbeds.ca/. They are steel alloy but we painted them a dark green. We've been very happy with them. Reasonably priced, easy to assemble, no rusting and the height is perfect (and there are many options).
Your home is so lovely! And I love your dream of a cut flower garden, it's one I share too :) I'm really enjoying these little windows into your lifestyle and garden posts (do you subscribe to Garden Study? it's so great!) But I'm wondering if you plan to return to style posts as well? While every newsletter is still a delight, I so appreciated your style insight as well.
Thank you Daron! The cut flower garden gives me so much joy. Garden Study is on my list to subscribe to so it's great to know you enjoy it. I do plan to mix in more style posts again soon and appreciate you sticking around in the meantime :)
Amazing! I would love to see what you could do with plants native to your area in your gardens! This year I’ve discovered the book “a Garden for the Rusty Patch Bumblebee” which has been an amazing guide.
Thank you for that book recommendation Claudia, I'll have to check it out. I'm a big proponent of keeping lots of native plants in the garden for sure. We're in Zone 4 so the range of options is limited but I've been loving Cone Flowers and Black Eyed Susans this year. Planning a wildflower pollinator garden by the garage next year.
Amazing. I’ve learned this year that lots of the flowers I loved can be invasive, which has been an intense learning curve! The book has a huge list of flowering plants throughout all the seasons, and suggests plants for different growing conditions. Hope it’s useful!
Love the flowers! I live in the city and enjoy buying cut flowers from the markets to have at home.
Thanks for the insight on doing nothing, I don’t know when I last did nothing either. I should give it a shot too!
I like how you link to posts on your blog, I might of read them before but the advice is still useful.
Also - it’s so easy to comment on substack 🙂

Wow, the garden looks SO lovely!
Thank you Michelle! It's so lush and green right now I love it. Excited to see how it transitions into fall too.
Would love to see some more outfits soon
Enjoy seeing your home & garden developing, green thumb paying off!!
What can I expect more of if decide to join sub stack ?
